Mage won by closing from far back in Kentucky Derby into a hot pace.  This type of runner typically loses the Preakness.  Will be looking for a horse that is more forwardly placed.

Horses that fit are National Treasure & First Mission.  National Treasure has better early speed (ES).  Mage has ability to be closer to pace.  Could be sitting fourth early.

Mage & National Treasure both get "A" letter grades.  Mage is fair value at 6-5 but might go off lower than that.  Will be hard to keep that horse out of the exacta with explosive move on turn.  Red Route One could close for a piece at a price.  Red Route One is only useable underneath.

Blazing Sevens & First Mission are working well.  Not a big factor on charts but this observation was useful in Kentucky Derby.  CHV spiked out 6 horses that were working well and four of them made the superfecta.

First Mission has an Energy of 100.  Winners of races typically have Energy within 5 points of race top.  That puts the contender list at First Mission, Mage, National Treasure & Red Route One.

Race gets a bet score of *3* due to Mage having Best Odds of 4-5.  The Value on Mage is thus very high but likely inflated.  There is no other significant value in race unless you can keep First Mission out of the exacta.
